Our Story

Jonas Roessel and Chris Joy took an idea and made it reality by launching Roessel Joy, a recruiting company with a vision for reimagining the staffing industry.

2018

2019

In the following year, the Roessel Joy team quickly grew to ten employees and expanded offices.

2020

In it’s third year, Roessel Joy saw the creation and launch of two new business lines - Atlas and SPP.

2021

Next in 2021, industry knowledge in finance and accounting led Roessel Joy to launch it’s accounting consultant business, Solaris.

2022

In 2022, Roessel Joy split divisions, quadrupling employee headcount and moving into bigger offices.

Currently, Roessel Joy is continuing and fast-tracking momentum with big plans for the next 5 years. . .

Chris Joy

  • As one of the co-founders of Roessel Joy, Chris is dedicated to providing exceptional staffing solutions. With ten years of experience in the finance and accounting space in New England, Chris has propelled Roessel Joy to success in the recruiting industry. His responsibilities include managing the temporary contract staffing practice of the company through motivating and mentoring the team’s collaborative efforts.

  • Jonas, co-founder of Roessel Joy, is dedicated to finding the right fit for clients and candidates. Jonas’s knowledge of the industry through his ten years of staffing industry experience and passion for connecting talented people with opportunities has been instrumental in Roessel Joy’s success. Through overseeing the direct hire practice of Roessel Joy, Jonas works closely with our direct to hire team to succeed each day.

With 20 years of experience in executive positions of Fortune 500 competitors, Kelly’s knowledge and leadership is integral to Roessel Joy. Under her guidance, Roessel Joy has grown exponentially, becoming the go-to partner for organizations seeking top talent. However, what truly sets Kelly apart is her relentless dedication to nurturing a company culture that values inclusivity, growth, and the development of meaningful relationships. Olivia Gonzales

  • Olivia graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 and started her career at Roessel Joy in the spring of 2023. After spending time in Talent Acquisition, she then worked as a fully licensed Realtor for over 4 years. With a background of 7 years within various sales roles, Olivia has used her expertise to build a successful Talent Acquisition & HR division at Roessel Joy.

Christina Meucci

  • Christina graduated from Providence College in 2023 and began her career at Roessel Joy that Fall. Over the last two years, she has advanced from Staffing Manager to Team Lead and currently serves as Division Director of the A&F Temp Recruiting team, where she is responsible for sourcing candidates and managing a team of recruiters.

Hillary LeGrand

  • Hillary joined Roessel Joy with a diverse background in accounting and finance from working as an accounting manager in various sectors. With her expertise in finance, Hillary brings industry-agnostic insights to help drive the team’s ambitions to new heights. As the Corporate Controller at Roessel Joy, she is dedicated to setting the foundation for its success.

Chris Ehl

  • Chris attended Bentley University and began his career in Cyber Security Sales and Sports Marketing before joining Roessel Joy in the Fall of 2023. He started as an Account Manager on the Temp Accounting and Finance team, quickly advancing to Senior Account Manager and Team Lead. In the Fall of 2024, Roessel Joy leadership invited Chris to join the HR and Administrative team as Division Director, where he has been responsible for growing both the Temporary and Direct Hire Business while leading the Sales Team.

Charlotte Barry

  • As Division Director of the temp recruiting team at Roessel Joy, Charlotte is responsible for sourcing candidates and managing a team of recruiters. Charlotte graduated from St. Lawrence University and has been at Roessel Joy for over two years where she’s climbed the latter from recruiting associate, to senior recruiter to division director.

Logan Huffman

  • Logan attended Miami University and began her career in sales while living in Charlotte, North Carolina, before moving to Boston and joining Roessel Joy in the Fall of 2023. She started as the stand-alone HR and Administrative Recruiter and quickly grew her team. Over the last two years, Logan has advanced from Staffing Manager to Senior Staffing Manager, and ultimately to Division Director. In her current role as Division Director of the HR and Administrative Recruiting team at Roessel Joy, she is responsible for expanding our division and managing a team of recruiters.

Michaela Halloran

  • Michaela is the Division Director of the permanent, direct hire accounting and finance team at Roessel Joy. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross, she joined Roessel Joy and has consistently advanced within the team. Her deep industry insight and strong relationships enable her to serve clients and candidates throughout the Greater Boston area. With a full-desk approach managing the entire recruitment cycle—from business development to candidate placement—Michaela ensures organizations secure the ideal talent while candidates find roles that meet their career ambitions.
