Meet the Team: Chace Khan

I'm Chace, an Account Manager here at Roessel Joy. I am from Newton, MA, and recently graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder- Leeds School of Business.

What is your role here at Roessel Joy?

I am an Account Manager. I partner with clients to provide staffing assistance for all accounting and finance related positions from accounting operations to senior management positions. I also provide strategic staffing advice to client companies on status of job market, relevant skill sets and current market compensation.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Knowing that I am in a B2B yet also a B2C role is very rewarding. Looking for companies that need accounting and finance positions filled and helping them with the search allows not only them to get great, new talent on board, it also allows people searching for jobs, find their next move!

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

Aside from the location being in downtown Boston, the work culture that has been built is unparalleled. Everyone plays hard, but most importantly, works even harder. Everyone is very kind and always offers advice/help when needed.

What values drive and motivate you?

Having every day as a fresh start drives me. What motivates me is that I can control where I want to be situated in 1 day, 1 month, 1 year, or 10 years from now. The effort I put in each day can dictate how my life can change.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

Everyone makes mistakes. Not everyone owns up to them. Own your mistakes, and the consequence will be much more generous if you admit you made said mistake and ask for advice on how not to repeat it.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

Every weekend after work on Friday, I pack my car and go straight to Falmouth, Cape Cod. Both sides of my family live there. My parents own Shipwrecked in Falmouth Heights. You can find me there every weekend and every Barnstable County Fair, competing in the Demolition Derby.
