Meet Colleen McBride!

Hometown: LaGrange, IL

Role here at Roessel Joy: I’m joining RJ as a Recruiting Associate.

Education: Boston College (graduated in 2023), major in Political Science, minor in Hispanic Studies

What are you most looking forward to in this new role?

I was interested in a role in recruiting coming out of college, so I’m excited to gain experience in the field. I’m looking forward to learning more from the other temp placement associates and being a part of such a great team.

What does being a part of the Roessel Joy team mean to you?

For me, it means being able to play a part in an evolving, intentional recruiting firm that takes a more thoughtful approach to recruiting candidates. Being able to work on a team of people committed to that goal is really exciting to me.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

Tomorrow depends on what you do today. I feel like that’s been especially relevant recently as a recent college grad.

What values drive and motivate you?

I’m motivated by the desire to do work that genuinely creates a positive impact - helping people find jobs that improve their daily life and/or standard of living.

Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or favorite things to do?

I love to cook, read (especially fiction), and I’ve recently been trying to become a runner.
