For our next Spotlight, we sat down with Rachel Asaro to learn more about her role and why she loves what he does!

What is your role?

My role is an Account Executive. I do full-desk sales and recruiting, which means I work with both candidates and clients. I really enjoy working with hiring managers to staff their teams as well as candidates looking for the next step in their career.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is helping people who are looking to for a new role and seeing the positive impact that makes on their life as well as helping a hiring manager fill a role that helps their team out.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

I love the team I’m a part of at Roessel Joy. Everyone is energetic, helpful, reliable, and very motivated. We are all able to work towards reaching our goals as a team while having fun. It makes for a great work culture.

What values drive and motivate you?

Growing up I swam competitively which came with a lot of hard work and commitment. Through swimming, I learned that the amount of hard work and energy I put into practicing pays off. As I’ve started my sales career, this still rings true. It’s rewarding to see this start to pay off at Roessel Joy.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

“Always be genuine.” In sales, it can be easy to get caught up in thinking about KPIs, quotas, and deals, but at the end of the day what makes a lasting impression is you as a person. I’ve learned that creating and fostering relationships and being a genuine person is a lot more meaningful than hitting a number.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

I am a Clemson football super-fan. On Saturdays in the fall you can almost always find me either attending a game or glued to the TV watching one. I’ve attended two College Football National Championships and traveled to several home and away games. Go Tigers!
