Recruiter Spotlight: Elizabeth Bennett

For our next Spotlight, we sat down with Elizabeth Bennett to learn more about her role and why she loves what she does. Her dedication to her job and kind spirit make her an integral part of our team!

What is your role?

I just started a new role as an Account Executive for Roessel Joy Creative. Previously, I was a Recruiting Associate for the A&F team. I'm excited to see where this new division will go!

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I’m always excited to make placements because it makes me feel like I’ve made a genuine impact on my candidate’s life. My biggest reward is helping someone find their dream job, especially right now in the midst of these unprecedented times.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

Chris and Jonas have put together such a great team and training program. I came to RJ with no staffing experience so everything I know is through them. They have been such a powerful resource and I continue to lean on them as I expand into the Creative team. Also, the potential opportunities are uncapped at RJ. There is an emphasis on continuing education and networking, so I always feel like I'm being supported beyond my day-to-day jobs.

What values drive and motivate you?

I'm motivated by the future and knowing that work I put in today will dictate where I am both personally and professionally moving forward.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

Do what you say you're going to do. Ask for help. Return the favor.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

Okay, so this is on my LinkedIn but I recently joined the Junior League from the suggestion of my colleague Colette! I'm going to be working with young girls age 8-11 and working with them on topics such as managing and making friendships through the COVID-19 pandemic, decision making, and healthy living habits. I am excited to connect more in depth with my community!

Connect with Liz and let her help you land your dream job!
