Meet the Team: Ana Silveira

Tell us a little about your background!

Hello, my name is Ana, I am originally from Quincy, MA. I graduated in 2019 from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Public Health. Previously in my career I worked at Boston Children’s Hospital as an administrative assistant and decided to make a career change. I knew I was always interested in becoming a recruiter after being the Membership Recruiting Director of my Sorority. I have always enjoyed talking to people and building new relationships so I started my recruiting career at a Life- Science firm.

What is your role?

I am currently a Recruiting Associate at Roessel joy.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is being able to connect with people and presenting them with new opportunities that can be life changing for them.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

My favorite part about working at Roessel Joy is the people. I am surrounded by my colleagues who are always there to make me laugh and answer any questions I may have.

What values drive and motivate you?

I value being positive, open-minded, and ambitious.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

My favorite piece of career advice is view every person you meet as a door that may lead you to a new opportunity.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

One thing about me that you can not find on LinkedIn is that I love to travel and go on different adventures when I can. My goal is to travel as much as I can when the opportunity presents itself!
