Meet the Team: Kelsey Doyle

Tell us a little about your background!

A large part of my background is in hospitality management! While in school, I ran our on-campus pub McPhail’s, and before starting at Roessel Joy, I was a Taproom Manager for Narragansett Brewing Company. Aside from slinging drinks, crafting cocktail menus, and opening kitchens, I had a hand in staffing both establishments. I even had a DIY recruiting process at McPhail’s, where I single handedly owned our staffing process from start to finish!

What is your role?

I’m a Recruiting Associate! I source talent from various platforms and help connect candidates to job opportunities that not only align with their skill sets, but also with what they’re looking for on a deeper level.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love connecting with candidates, especially at the beginning of their job searches. Being on the job market can be incredibly daunting, and I hope to provide candidates with a sense of security throughout that process.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

It’s a team effort! While there’s no shortage of healthy competition in the bullpen, we all genuinely build each other up and motivate each other to always go the extra mile.

What values drive and motivate you?

Integrity is huge in my book. At the end of the day, we’re playing a major role in changing lives and it’s important to be mindful of the impact that we have.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

“You become what you think about.” Six simple words that I take with me every day. Perspective is everything and having the right mindset (whatever that means for you!) when it comes to your goals will take you further than you think.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

I absolutely LOVE coffee! I’m a huge nerd and have a bunch of different brewing instruments so that I can switch it up depending on my mood! (If this post gets 100 likes we’ll make a monthly #coffeewithkdiggs Insta story segment)

Connect with Kelsey and let her help you find your next role!
