What is your role here at Roessel Joy?

I am a recruiting associate for the contract-to-hire team!

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job so far is getting to talk to so many different types of people and hear their stories. I can only imagine how much more satisfying it is to place someone in a role once you know their motivations and what makes them who they are.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

My favorite thing about working at Roessel Joy as cliché as it sounds, is the people. In the short time, I have been here I already feel so comfortable and supported in this environment. It truly is a hard/play-hard environment. Everyone does their job, but everyone is also always laughing and having a great time. I have made so many great friends since I started and am so excited for the company to continue to grow.

What values drive and motivate you?

Helping people motivates me the most. Everyone has their own challenges in life and being able to hold people’s hands through one of the most stressful experiences of looking for a job is exciting and rewarding.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

My best piece of career advice is that there is always more room to learn more. It is important to challenge yourself to grow every day, no matter what point you are at in your career.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

I absolutely love going on road trips. Last summer I went on a three-week road trip 7,430 miles across the country in a minivan with my best friends. Next summer I plan to do it all again on the Pacific Coast Highway.
