Meet the Team: Jess Bungerz

For this week’s Spotlight, we spoke with Jess Bungerz to learn more about her role at Roessel Joy and what she loves about it.

What is your role? My role at Roessel Joy is a Recruiting Associate. I speak with people from all different walks of life and help them get matched with positions that fit their skillsets and help advance their careers.

 What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It’s really rewarding to be able to make a difference towards someone’s future. Helping people will always feel valuable and worthwhile. Knowing that someone else will benefit from the hard work of Roessel Joy, is very rewarding and helps me be more productive.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy?

Having played sports my whole life, I gravitate towards the work hard, play harder mentality at this organization. The results that we get here at Roessel Joy are solely based off the time and effort that we put into each placement. This company wouldn’t be complete without everyone’s hard work, along with the fun and positive atmosphere of the office. I enjoy coming to work every day because of the people who I work around, who help me grow at my job but also make me laugh.

What values drive and motivate you?

I value being reliable, staying positive, and always delivering my best.

What is your favorite piece of career advice?

The best career advice is, “Always be learning.” Every outcome can be a lesson, whether it be a positive or a negative one. Constantly looking at situations like learning opportunities only helps you do better in the future.

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn?

I make a mean banana bread. Even before the bread making phases of the pandemic, making banana bread was a great hobby of mine. The recipe just got a little more refined during quarantine.
